Through this assignment, we know what is concordance, corpus, a concordancer, what concordancing allows us to do and the specific uses of concordance. To be truthful, this is the first time we coming across the word ‘concordance’ but, after completing this assignment, really helped us to fully understand more about concordance. At first we only know that concordance is used find how many times does a word occur in a passage. Which was really boring. But, there is actually more to it than just that. It’s actually very interesting, because students can do their own research with a concordancer. From what we have came to know, there is also a various software’s on the Net whereby students and teachers can download for a free 30 day trial. This, in our point of view, is very useful, as students and teachers can make full use of 30 days before they decide on purchasing it. 


   Apart from that, when completing this assignment we found a website for Quran Concordance which was very useful for us in understanding the verses in Holy Quran.  It also help us to understand Islam better when we know the meaning of  the verses in Quran. The Holy Prophet of Islam emphasized that the quest for knowledge and sciences is obligatory upon every Muslim, man and woman. He enjoined his followers to seek knowledge even if they had to travel to China.
